Looking for Spring '18 + Summer '18 Interns

THE SAMPSON HOUSE –

We are a fast growing digital marketing agency that focuses on brand building and modern marketing. We are based out of Sioux Falls, SD. We curate and implement online strategies that work. Our creative team of analysts, strategists, designers, copywriters, video + photo producers are top-notch and devoted to elevating brands. 

THE DETAILS –

We are looking to work with students who are ecstatic to dive into the world of brand building + modern marketing for The Sampson House. This position is heavily focused on content creation, brand building, design, and implementation of campaigns for both The Sampson House, as well as our clients.

Graphic Design Intern DETAILS –

This is a paid design internship position. We are looking to bring on someone who is ecstatic to dive into the world of brand building + modern marketing with The Sampson House team. This position is heavily focused on digital facets, design, microcontent creation, brand building, and implementation of campaigns for both The Sampson House, as well as our clients. This internship position requires 20+ hours per week in our downtown Sioux Falls studio along with flexibility to work some hours remotely. 

Candidate should be comfortable with, but not limited to:

  • Assisting our Art Director with design projects for digital media, social media ads and campaigns

  • Working closely with a Project Manager on campaigns, strategy and implementation of projects

  • Coordinating, assisting and contributing to photo shoots for campaigns, look books, and social media microcontent

  • Team brainstorming meetings and pitching campaign ideas w/ The Sampson House

  • Adobe suite: Lightroom, Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign

  • The ability to lead design projects

  • The ability to work as a team

  • Working remotely, managing your own time and meeting hard deadlines

  • Managing projects

  • Curating blog posts from start to finish

  • Team projects

Candidate must have:

  • Extensive knowledge of social media and digital marketing

  • Knowledge of Adobe Programs (specifically: Lightroom, Illustrator, Photoshop)

  • A demonstrated eye for quality content

  • A strong ability to multi-task projects

  • Grammatical skills

  • Strong communication skills

  • A strong ability to meet deadlines (late is not an option)

  • An autonomous work ethic and the ability to come up with solutions when challenges arise

  • Regular access to email and texting

Candidate must be:

  • An ambassador for The Sampson House, as well as our clients

  • Reliable

  • Professional

  • A self-starter

  • Extremely motivated

  • Extremely jazzed about marketing for kick-ass clients

  • Able to adapt to last minute changes

  • Organized and meticulous

  • Outgoing and comfortable in meeting new people

DIGITAL MEDIA COORDINATOR INTERN DETAILS -

This is a paid internship position. We are looking to bring on someone who is ecstatic to dive into the world of brand building + modern marketing with The Sampson House team. This position is heavily focused on content creation, brand building, and implementation of campaigns for both The Sampson House, as well as our clients.This internship position requires 20+ hours per week in our downtown Sioux Falls studio along with flexibility to work some hours remotely. 

Candidate should be comfortable with, but not limited to:

  • Maintaining client social platforms, creating unique on-brand social content, and managing and ensuring fan/follower growth

  • Managing projects with excellent and professional communication

  • Assisting and contributing to photo shoots for campaigns, look books, micro content and social media content.

  • Team brainstorming meetings and pitching campaign ideas with The Sampson House

  • Adobe suite: Lightroom, Photoshop, and InDesign

  • Working remotely, managing your own time and meeting deadlines

  • Curating blog posts from start to finish

  • Assisting our Creative Director, Art Director and Project Managers with projects

Candidate must have:

  • Extensive knowledge of social media, digital marketing, and blogging

  • A demonstrated eye for quality content

  • A strong ability to multi-task projects

  • Fantastic and witty writing skills

  • Strong grammatical skills

  • A strong ability to meet deadlines (late is not an option)

  • An autonomous work ethic and the ability to come up with solutions when challenges arise

  • Regular access to email and texting

A student (receiving college credit is a bonus), as this is a mentorship program. Obtaining a degree in graphic design and/or marketing. You are hardworking, a go-getter, and determined to be the BEST. You take initiative and like to develop digital strategy and execute with drive and passion. You slay at short deadlines and fast turn around times.
