The leaves are turning, football season is here, and we are busting out our flannels. Something smells like fall and we are pumped. Check out TSH’s fall favorites below!
April: "One of my favorite things about fall is that I can finally drink hot drinks again! My go to fall recipe is chai tea, which involves steeping spicy chai tea in hot milk, then adding vanilla syrup. A recent love of mine has been visiting farmers markets and trying interesting produce. But I’d say my ultimate fall favorite is seeing the leaves turn!
Angela: “Every fall, my fiancé and I LOVE to visit the black hills! The changing of seasons out there is so beautiful with all the trees! We typically spend our time camping, hiking and enjoying the scenery. We love going out there in the fall so much that we decided to get married there next fall!”
Kerry: “One of my favorite fall activities is to attend literally ALL of the festivals at the Country Apple Orchard. Apple Festival, Harvest Festival and Pumpkin Festival. They're always so much fun with the wagon rides out to the apple trees to pick a bag of apples or strolling the pumpkin patch for that perfect pumpkin. The fall air is usually so nice plus with a cup of apple cider and a slice of pie these festivals are the ultimate fall experience. Another family favorite is the Heartland Country Corn Maze. Winding around the maze and trying not to get lost is a fall must.”
Gabrielle: “For fall, I look forward to being able to shamelessly order all of the hot coffee drinks in the world. I feel like in the summer, everyone is pushed towards getting everything iced. So cheers to designs in all of my caramel lattes to come!”
Valerie: “Geez, I have so many favorites! Every fall I make sure to do the following - attend an SDSU football game, spend an afternoon at the Country Apple Orchard and attend a cooking class at Plum's Cooking Co. I love fall!!”
Jeff: “I love going to the Orchard and taking in all the festivities that entails (especially apple pie and ice cream) I also love biking in the fall, the cooler weather and the turning leaves make for a very different experience than the rest of the year”
Grace: “Fall is my favorite time of year by far. The cooler weather, football season (go Augie and MN Vikings!) sweaters, hot drinks, fall candles, and my birthday month. How can it get any better?”
