And the Award Goes to...
No, we aren’t talking about the Oscars. But none other than the Addy Awards— the most important awards season here at The Sampson House! The Addy Awards are industry awards for exemplary work in the digital media marketing field hosted by the South Dakota American Advertising Federation.
This awards show is always a good excuse to get dressed up as an office and head out for a great evening spent with like-minded creatives. But more importantly, we were grateful to be spending the night representing both The Sampson House and all of our clients that we love creating content for.
This year, we had the honor of receiving two awards— a gold and a silver Addy.
GOLD ADDY: Jane Rae Events Lookbook
Online/Interactive- Digital Publications
This year’s gold Addy in Online & Interactive Digital Publications went to the Jane Rae Events Lookbook, a project that we take a lot of pride in. For this lookbook, we wanted to emulate Jane Rae’s beautiful aesthetic and add a touch of whimsical. We were over the moon with how this turned out— and the judges did too!
SILVER ADDY: Hungry for Truth SD Foodie Film

Hungry for Truth’s fan-favorite foodie films took home a silver Addy. The one that caught the judges’ eyes was the yummy turkey bites from the Thanksgiving season. These are some of our favorite videos to film (because who doesn’t love food, right?). Through a combination of still shots and stop motion, a lot goes into both these videos. The set-up, creation, and editing of these videos is a long process, so it’s easy to say that hard work really pays off.
