Christmas is just around the corner and we've completely immersed ourselves in all things festive. We heart every excuse to stay indoors with fuzzy socks, pj's, and a hot chocolate in hand. We've got the Netflix fireplace on, Christmas music going, and aromatherapy on the stove. This year, we've been enjoying DIY holiday simmer pots. So easy and so good. Toss a few simple kitchen staples into a pot filled with water and simmer for hours. :)
Prep Time: 5 min.
Ingredient Ideas: Apples, pomegranate, cinnamon sticks, rosemary, drops of vanilla, orange peels, pears, ginger, whole cloves, etc. Anything goes!
Directions: Combine your ingredients into a pot, fill water to the top, and turn stove to simmer. As the water evaporates feel free to add more water. Be sure to check on your concoction from time-to-time making sure there's enough water and your ingredients don't burn. Enjoy!
