As our Digital Marketing Intern, Avery Lonneman brings a fresh perspective, a strong analytical mindset, and a growing passion for data-driven storytelling to our digital team. Currently studying at the University of South Dakota, Avery is gaining hands-on experience in website and campaign performance analysis while applying the latest marketing learnings from the classroom to real-world client work.

HOW DID YOU FIRST LEARN ABOUT TSH, AND WHAT DREW YOU TO US?
I was looking at different marketing agencies in Sioux Falls, and I really liked TSH’s website and the fact that they’re a smaller team. I love the idea of getting to know everyone well, and I really enjoyed their portfolio.

WHAT PROJECTS ARE YOU CURRENTLY WORKING ON? AND WHICH HAS BEEN YOUR FAVORITE SO FAR?
I am currently working on analyzing website and campaign performance.
WHAT MOTIVATES YOU TO WAKE UP AND GO TO WORK?
I have to make my bed every morning to feel productive, and a fun drink always helps. I love coffee, energy drinks, and tea bombs.
WHAT DO YOU SPEND YOUR TIME DOING WHEN YOU’RE NOT AT WORK?
I love to read, go on long walks, go to the gym, binge a TV show, and cook.
WHEN DID YOU DEVELOP AN INTEREST IN MARKETING?
I took a marketing class in high school that sparked my interest. We had hands-on experience creating content for both the school and the school café, where I learned more about branding, social media, and content creation.
WHAT’S A CURRENT MARKETING TREND YOU SEE HAPPENING RIGHT NOW?
Short-form video content is becoming increasingly popular and is an effective way to capture customers’ attention through Reels or TikTok.
WHO WOULD BE YOUR DREAM CLIENT TO WORK ON AND WHY?
I’d love to work with a small coffee shop because I love coffee and think it would be fun to learn more about what goes on behind the scenes.
BEST ADVICE YOU'VE EVER RECEIVED?
“Everything happens for a reason.” When things feel stressful, this quote reminds me that it’s all leading to something bigger and better.

I love diving deep into numbers and developing solutions that lead to better results.

Anywhere in Italy or Greece. I think they are both beautiful and have interesting historical sites.

Probably Jake Shane. He is really funny and seems like a fun person to hang out with.

I don’t have a favorite, but I love anything Italian.

Success to me is when all parties are happy, goals have been met, and everyone feels confident and proud of the results.

bring a new outlook on things. Since I’m currently in school, I’m learning all the latest in marketing, especially AI, and how to use it effectively. I also bring creativity, adaptability, and a willingness to jump in and apply what I’m learning.
