Account Executive, Lindsey Morris
We’re excited to welcome Lindsey Morris to The Sampson House team as our new Account Executive!
Lindsey joins us with a strong background in marketing, bringing experience in account management, project management, and media planning. Beyond her professional expertise, she’s an active leader in the local marketing community, currently serving on the executive team of AAF-SD.
From day one, Lindsey has jumped right in, building strong client relationships, managing projects, and contributing her strategic insight to our team’s ongoing success. When she’s not crafting marketing strategies, you’ll likely find Lindsey outside with her dogs, tending to her garden, or spending weekends at the lake with her family. She’s also part of a bowling league, an avid traveler, and a self-proclaimed sauce enthusiast.

HOW DID YOU FIRST LEARN ABOUT TSH, AND WHAT DREW YOU TO US?
I’ve known about The Sampson House for years just by being in the industry, but learned more about who they were while serving on the AAF-SD board with Val. That’s when I got a real sense of their work and company culture!
WHAT ARE 3 WORDS TO DESCRIBE THE SAMPSON HOUSE?
Appealing, Modern, Strategic
WHAT PROJECTS ARE YOU CURRENTLY WORKING ON? AND WHICH HAS BEEN YOUR FAVORITE SO FAR?
I’ve been able to jump into onboarding and discovery with our new client, Landscape Garden Centers, and begin working through the early stages of planning and strategy for them. As someone who loves plants and gardening, it’s so cool to be working with a client like this!
WHAT MOTIVATES YOU TO WAKE UP AND GO TO WORK?
I’m driven by the teamwork and energy that come with chasing goals alongside a creative team and helping our clients succeed.
WHAT DO YOU SPEND YOUR TIME DOING WHEN YOU’RE NOT AT WORK?
It all depends on the time of year! In the summer, I’m all about being outside. I love gardening, taking my dogs for long walks/hikes, and spending weekends at the lake with my family. In the colder months, I enjoy board games, reading and I have recently taken up sewing!
WHEN DID YOU DEVELOP AN INTEREST IN MARKETING?
I took an intro to marketing class in college that first sparked my interest in the field. But it wasn’t until after college—once I got hands-on experience in the advertising world—that I realized how much I enjoyed it and that it was the right path for me!
WHAT’S A CURRENT MARKETING TREND YOU SEE HAPPENING RIGHT NOW?
Short-form video and user-generated content continue to grow in popularity across social platforms. People want to see real, authentic content that feels natural to each platform, not something overly polished or forced. The more natural and relatable it feels, the better it performs.
WHO WOULD BE YOUR DREAM CLIENT TO WORK ON AND WHY?
I love all things home decorating and design. I think it’s a great way to be creative and bring personality into a space. Because of that, I think it would be really exciting to work with a brand like Crate & Barrel or West Elm.
BEST ADVICE YOU'VE EVER RECEIVED?
Two pieces of advice I try to keep top of mind are: ‘Don’t take life too seriously’ and ‘Be where your feet are’. Both are great reminders to stay positive and fully present!

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT YOUR POSITION?
What I love about my position is that I get to think creatively and strategically, while utilizing my strengths of being detail-focused and personable to help our team and clients bring ideas to life.
WHAT’S YOUR ULTIMATE BUCKET-LIST TRAVEL DESTINATION?
I have a long list of countries I hope to visit someday, but currently, my fiancé and I have a goal of seeing all 50 states and as many National Parks as we can.
IF YOU COULD MEET ANYONE, LIVING OR DEAD, WHO WOULD IT BE AND WHY?
I think it would be really cool to meet a great-great-grandparent and hear their stories while learning more about my family’s history!

I really enjoy ROAM Kitchen + Bar and Look’s Marketplace!
3 INTERESTING THINGS ABOUT YOU:
During college, I spent a month traveling across Europe and visited nine different countries.
I’m currently part of a bowling league
I’m a huge fan of condiments and sauces - Ranch is definitely my favorite
WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY LISTENING TO ON YOUR PLAYLIST?
My playlists usually range from Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber to Morgan Wallen and Noah Kahan, basically different genres for every mood!
GO-TO TV SHOW?
Friends and New Girl are my go-to comfort shows, but I have a guilty pleasure for pretty much any reality TV.
HOW DO YOU DEFINE SUCCESS?
Being genuinely happy and content with my life.

I’ve had the opportunity to work across account management, project management, and media planning. These experiences have given me a big-picture view of how the many aspects of marketing fit together, bringing perspective and ideas from multiple angles.
