What A Night!
Last Friday, The Sampson House team got all dressed up and headed to the 2026 American Advertising Awards at the Orpheum. As a South Dakota digital marketing agency, it was exciting to celebrate alongside fellow professionals in branding, marketing strategy, website design, and advertising campaign development. With a 70s-themed stage setup, familiar faces, and a whole lot of creative energy in the room, it was a celebration from start to finish.
By the end of the night, we brought home 6 Gold ADDYs, 4 Silver ADDYs, 2 Best of Class awards, and — for the first time in agency history — Best of Show. From brand strategy and integrated campaigns to website design, digital marketing, and video production, these awards showcase the breadth of work our team creates for clients across industries.

Our first win of the night was a Gold ADDY for Remedy Brewing Co.’s Skolberry Can Design. Tasked with creating a bold, eye-catching look for this unique brew, our team crafted a strategic packaging design and brand identity that perfectly captures the vibrant flavor and playful personality of Skolberry. From concept to final illustration, every detail of this product packaging design was intentionally designed to stand out on the shelf and connect with craft beer lovers. Our second award of the night was a Gold ADDY for the Culture Cove website with Think 3D Solutions. Designed with a bold, modern aesthetic, the site pairs immersive imagery with clean typography and intuitive navigation to create a seamless user experience.

Our next award of the night was a Silver ADDY forVoyage Federal Credit Union’s “Moments That Matter” campaign. This integrated marketing campaign was was centered around the meaningful milestones and everyday wins that shape our lives, the campaign was designed to feel personal, relatable, and community-driven.
Through thoughtful messaging and cohesive visuals, we helped tell stories that reflect Voyage’s commitment to supporting members at every stage. This recognition highlights the power of authentic storytelling paired with strategic creative.
Gold Addy & Best of Class: Print Advertising | Corporate Social Responsibility, Single Unit-Any Size
Our next win was a Gold ADDY for the Hungry for Truth Sticker Pack. Designed to be both eye-catching and educational, this sticker series brought agricultural facts to life in a fun, approachable way. By combining playful visuals with meaningful messaging, the pack extended the Hungry for Truth mission beyond traditional formats and into everyday moments. Projects like this highlight how creative campaign design and thoughtful brand storytelling can transform educational messages into engaging, shareable content.

We also received a Gold ADDY for the Hungry for Truth “Oh Soy” Card Deck. This interactive piece was created to spark conversation and share farm facts in a unique, engaging format. Blending thoughtful copy with cohesive design, the card deck transformed educational content into a hands-on experience that made learning about soy both memorable and fun. Work like this demonstrates how interactive content and creative marketing campaigns can help organizations connect with audiences in more meaningful ways.
Gold Addy: Out-of-Home & Ambient Media | Corporate Social Responsibility, Single Occurence
Another Gold ADDY came in for the Hungry for Truth Virtual Farm Tour, an immersive digital experience designed to bring audiences inside modern farming. Through interactive storytelling, digital experience design, and strategic campaign development, the virtual tour invited viewers to explore agriculture in a creative and accessible way.

We earned a Silver ADDY for the Hungry for Truth Soy Campaign, an integrated marketing campaign designed to share the story of South Dakota soybeans. This multi-channel marketing campaign worked cohesively across platforms, combining strategic messaging, visual storytelling, and coordinated campaign execution to bridge the gap between consumers and farmers. Through thoughtful campaign strategy, creative development, and cross-platform promotion, the campaign amplified awareness while reinforcing Hungry for Truth’s commitment to education and advocacy.
Silver Addy: Film, Sound, and Video | Corporate Social Responsibility Film, Video & Sound
Rounding out the category, we received a Silver ADDY for the Calli Williams Farmer Feature for Hungry For Truth. This brand storytelling video highlighted the passion, dedication, and sustainability efforts of a South Dakota farmer through thoughtful video production and documentary-style storytelling.
By capturing authentic moments on film, the piece helped humanize agriculture and strengthen the connection between farmers and consumers. Professional video production and strategic visual storytelling is a great way for organizations to share meaningful stories in an impactful way.
Gold Addy, Best of Class, & Best of Show: Campaigns | Advertising Industry Self-Promotion Campaigns - Integrated Media Campaign
Our final — and biggest — wins of the night were a Gold ADDY, Best of Class, and the prestigious Best of Show Award for TEN: The Sampson House Coffee Pop-Up. Created to celebrate our ten-year anniversary, TEN was more than a pop-up — it was a fully branded, community-centered experience.
From concept and design to custom merchandise and promotion, every detail was intentionally crafted to reflect who we are as a creative marketing and branding agency while inviting the community to be part of the celebration. Bringing local partners, clients, and friends together under one roof made the event even more meaningful. Earning three awards for this is an incredible milestone for our team and a true testament to the creativity, collaboration, and heart that went into TEN.
