Our objective was simple: turn a leadership transition into brand trust. A Legacy of Smiles celebrated the standard set by Dr. Horner and introduced Dr. Barrow as the steward of what’s next—preserving the warmth patients know while signaling modern direction, steady hands, and lasting community commitment.
Overview
Barrow Orthodontics is a family-centered practice based in Sioux Falls, led by board-certified orthodontist Dr. Keri Barrow, with longtime practitioner Dr. Kevin Horner recognized for decades of service to the community. The team is known for a welcoming, patient-first culture and modern treatment methods, serving patients in Sioux Falls with additional satellite clinics in Luverne, MN, and Freeman, SD.
The Sampson House partnered with Barrow Orthodontics to shape A Legacy of Smiles—a brand narrative that honors Dr. Horner’s foundational impact while introducing Dr. Barrow’s leadership with clarity and warmth. Our collaboration included a flagship legacy video, campaign creative, paid media, billboards, and an office tour—aligning message and visuals across touchpoints to reinforce continuity of care and invite the next generation of patients to begin their smile journey.

STRATEGY
We turned a leadership transition into a brand-building moment with A Legacy of Smiles—leading with heart and following with proof. Anchored by a legacy film honoring Dr. Horner and introducing the next chapter with Dr. Barrow, the integrated campaign spanned paid social/search, Google Ads, high-visibility billboards, and a welcoming office tour to spark curiosity and boost first-appointment confidence. Creative highlighted authentic father–daughter moments, team voices, and “smiles in progress,” signaling continuity of care with fresh, modern energy.
From the first bracket placed to countless confident smiles, Dr. Kevin Horner built a practice where every patient is treated like family. As he steps into retirement, this legacy film celebrates the passing of the torch to his daughter, practicing orthodontist Dr. Kerry Barrow—honoring the integrity, honesty, and humility he instilled in her from day one.
